Rural Health Clinic (RHC) Expertise
William H. Williams, III is a seasoned entrepreneur and recognized leader in the medical software and healthcare information technology industry. For more than two decades he has helped independent physician practices and Rural Health Clinics adopt, optimize, and sustain technology that improves both clinical workflows and financial performance.
Since 1999, William has served as Owner of Medsoftware, Inc., where he developed and executed a service-based business model centered on medical billing software management, project leadership, and hands-on implementation coordination. His contributions as a member of product advisory boards for McKesson and PracticeChoice earned him the distinction of VAR of the Year on two occasions.
In 2016 he expanded his portfolio by co-founding Oasis Medical Solutions with his sibling, Ashley Williams. As Co-Owner and Clinical EHR Specialist, William focuses on electronic medical records consulting, physician and staff training, system implementation, and ongoing clinical advisory support. He has served on product advisory boards for PDSMED and MDsuite
and helped position Oasis as a top-performing national reseller before the firm’s transition to its current partnership with Azalea Health. Oasis specializes in tailored EHR, practice management, and revenue-cycle solutions for solo, small-group, and Rural Health Clinic providers across the Mid-South and beyond.
William further broadened his leadership in 2017 when he assumed the role of CEO at Medical RCM Solutions. In this capacity he oversees practice management and billing services, business development, strategic planning, regulatory consulting and coaching, provider credentialing, and comprehensive training programs for physicians and staff.
His academic foundation is a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville (1990–1994), which sharpened the analytical and problem-solving skills he brings to complex healthcare technology environments. William is an accomplished presenter and public speaker with superior written and oral communication abilities. His technical expertise
spans database management (Microsoft SQL, Access, Ctree), networking (MCSE, Microsoft Server platforms, IBM Cloud), Office 365, and video/audio production.
Beyond his professional work, William is deeply engaged in his community. He has served as Elder (2012–2017) and continues as a member of the Media Team at First Lutheran Church of Hot Springs, Arkansas. With the Fun City Chorus he has progressed from chorus member to Board Member, Scholarship Chairman, and, since 2019, Board President. He is also an
active participant in USA Triathlon, reflecting a lifelong commitment to personal discipline and endurance.
William’s career is defined by a consistent focus on practical results: helping providers adopt technology that works the way they work, strengthening revenue-cycle performance, and delivering training that sticks. Whether leading implementations, advising on product direction, or guiding practices through regulatory complexity, he brings more than twenty-five years of hands-on experience and a clear commitment to independent healthcare providers.
